Honourable Philip Basoah, the Member of Parliament for Sekyere Kumawu Constituency in the Ashanti region, has led a team of NPP Executives, to inspects statutory funds development projects in the constituency.
The team inspected projects which included the construction of Oyoko Nurses quarter’s, 24 seater toilet facility at Sekyere, Akrokyere CHIPs compound, three unit class block at Asekyerewa, 12 seater toilet facility at Woraso,
Others were the construction of girls’ dormitory, and a 24 seater Bio-gas water closet toilet facility for Dadease Agric Senior High School (DASS), sponsored by the M.P. through his statutory common funds.
The team also visited, the newly Driver and Vehicle licence Authority (DVLA) office at Kumawu and 16 seater toilet facility for the people of Papease community, Bodomase nurse’s quarters, 20 seater toilet facility at Ownoo, 20 seater toilet facility at Abotanso.
The headmaster for Dadease Agric SHS Mr. Wiafe, commended government and the MP for giving them their fair share of the national cake, and appealed to MP to provide them another ultra modern toilet facility for the Boys, because they normally use to go to toilet in the bush.
Speaking to the MP for the area Hon. Philip Basoah, he told Ntow Frank (fox FM reporter) that the visit was aimed at giving an account of their stewardship, and to keep the people abreast with developmental projects.
They also inspected work on the construction of Sekyere Kumawu District Assembly and construction of a classroom block at Bodomase senior high school. The MP supported the project with Ghc 20,000.
