Good Master Care Foundation, a non profitable governmental organization has donated to over two hundred Widows in Effiduase – Asokore community in the Sekyere East District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Headed by Elder Godfred Antwi, the general overseer of Mount Zion Prayer Camp of the Church Of Pentecost indicated during the launch of the Foundation that, the donation forms part of the foundation’s aim of always giving back to the aged and Widows.
He said, the Foundation is set up to nurture at risk children, orphans and also to provide all the necessary assistance to the needy in the society.
Elder Godfred, during the launch of the foundation invited and donated more than 200 pieces of wax prints, assorted bags of rice, clothes and other items to the Widows as part of its corporate social responsibilities.
He then presented a motorbike to the Sekyere East police service to aid them reduce crime in the district.
Speaking to Elder Godfred Antwi after the donation, he told newsmen that, he spent over Ghc30, 000 on the donation.
He revealed that, he was once an orphan, so he developed the idea of supporting orphans because of the experience he had when he was an orphan.
He said, he sometimes sleep without food in his past days when he was young. But indicated that, his inabilities, those days, didn’t discourage him but struggled hard and made it at the end.
He hinted that , the act of giving makes one spiritually strong, especially being a servant of the most high God.
He said, is a core responsibility of every man of God to help those in need.
Since he developed the idea, he has been able to assist 12 people to further their education in the Senior High school and some are still under his care.
He entreated his fellow philanthropists and men of God to stretch hand on those in need within their societies.
He flawed on security works in the district and appealed to the police in the area to strengthen measures in minimizing crime in the district.
