At least 11 female students of the Fumbisi Senior High School in the Builsa South District of the Upper East region have reportedly collapsed on campus after seeing ghost.
The School has subsequently been closed down yesterday, according to the District Police Commander Dsp Samuel Ntorso of Builsa South District in the Upper East Region.
He said the decision to close down the school was to forestall any unforeseen mayhem as student’s agitation grows over reported ”witchcraft”activities in the school.
A frightened female student was reported to have fallen from the second floor of the girl’s dormitory on Sunday night after apparently seeing a strange creature.
Though the student who was rushed to the Fumbisi health center for health care has since recovered, she is ”traumatized”.
Another 10 female students were said to have also collapsed on Monday afternoon which hasn’t been confirmed yet if they were hunted by the unseen ghost.
Following the incidents, the students refused to take their lunch and threatened to riot late in the night.
The District Security Council was informed about the development on campus leading to the closure of the school for the situation to be investigated.
