Accra Hearts of Oak have received from AC Horoya the transfer fee of former winger Patrick Razak who moved to the Guinean giants weeks ago, FOX FM can exclusively reveal.
Razak sealed a two-year move to AC Horoya in October after Hearts of Oak agreed to sell the former Tamale Utrecht sensation to avoid a possible move to bitter rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The wait is over after AC Horoya credited the accounts of the Phobians with a total sum of $120, 000 for the transfer fee of Razak on Monday.
Initially, the protracted move of the ace winger was widely reported in the local media to be $150,000 while the two clubs decided to keep the fee undisclosed.
However, an internal source disclosed to FOX FM that $120,000 had been received from AC Horoya for the transfer fee of Razak and that no further payments are expected at the moment.
“Horoya transferred into Hearts of Oak’s account an amount of $120,000 for transfer fee of Patrick Razak today (Monday)”, the source disclosed. ” We wanted it earlier than that but we are okay,at least they have paid everything “, continued the source.
Patrick Razak is currently in Ghana awaiting his flight ticket from his new employers to arrive either Tuesday or Wednesday before moving to continue his career with AC Horoya.
