Ace journalist Kofi Adade, formerly of Fox fm now with Oyerepa fm, all in Kumasi, Ashanti regional Capital and a potential assembly member for Dadease electoral area in the Sekyere Kumawu District also in the Ashanti Region has cautioned the general public to stop encroaching school lands.
According to him, encroachment of school lands does not help schools in the Country to develop.
The Assembly member hopeful made this known when he distributed coconut trees to schools in his electoral area for fencing this morning.
The development oriented assembly member hopeful was worried about the spate at which people encroach school land in the country. This he said may not help in expansion of the schools.
He however advised the general public to be vigilant when buying land for personal properties.
Kofi Adade revealed that, he is determined to fetch more developmental projects to schools in the area. Hinting that plans are more advanced to solicit for fund to build teachers quarters to accommodate teachers I think the area.
Schools that benefited included, Salvation army, D/A Primary and SDA.
