Madam Adoma , a native of Domasua which is a suburb in Sunyani is owed by her ex-husband and also claims he has refused to change name of ownership in relation to their house he gave to her as compensation.
According to her,she had four children with her ex-husband which during their marriage his family objected to their union with claims that she is a disabled woman.
In her narration on “NYA ASEM HWE” programme hosted by Mmrantihene Afari Yeboah, her husband gave their three bedroom flat as compensation when they divorced and also was owing her thousand eight Ghana cedis and also has failed to change ownership of the house in her name.
Madam Adoma added that,he no longer cater for their kids anymore and has incurred four thousand Ghana cedis electricity bill due to her ex-husband lies that,he used to pay the bills which has resulted in them sleeping in dark for nine months.
Debunking the claims, Kofi Boateng who is the ex-husband of Madam Adoma denied the case leveled against him and said it was false as he catered for his children and used to give them two hundred and ninety Ghana cedis every week but since work isn’t going well gives them two hundred and fifty Ghana cedis.
Mr Boateng’s father added that, concerning change in ownership they went to Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit(DOVVSU )where they were asked to attach money to the house and make sure papers of change in ownership were ready to be signed which they obliged but she refused to sign.
