Nigerian folks trading at the Nkrumah circle has been cautioned by the Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA) to be submissive if they really want their shops to be opened.
According to the National Organizer of GUTA, Clement Boateng, they may open the shops for them if only the Nigerians will cool down and be submissive, if not they are going to show the Nigerians that they live in their motherland.
This comes after the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo criticized the decision by GUTA to shut down shops owned by Nigerians during his Accra tour.
“People cannot take the law into their own hands and enforce the law. If we do that, Ghana will become chaotic. We have to be careful about this phenomenon of taking the law into our own hands about situations that government is yet to resolve” President Akufo-Addo said.
