The Former Inspector General of Police(IGP) and also former Ambassador to Israel ,Nana Owusu Nsia, who is currently a Council of State Member in the President Nana Akuffo Addo’s administration has announced his displeasure on the poor performances of political leaders in Berekum.
In a press conference,he said,Berekum has not developed because the government appointees are not doing their best to develop the town.
He said ,nobody can blame him for poor roads in Berekum but should blame the assembly since it’s the duty of the Municipal Assembly headed by Hon.Kofi Adjei to lead and construct the bad roads people are complaining of in Berekum.
He said he has contributed a lot to see Berekum develop and people should stop accusing him since he is not in charge of the people taxes they collect to develop Berekum.
He tasked the MCE Hon.Kofi Adjei ,DCE Hon.Isaac Osei of Berekum West District as well as the two MP’s in both Berekum East and West ,Hon.Kwabena Twum Nuamah and Hom.Kweku Agyenim Boateng respectively to deliver the best to the people of Berekum.
