The Minister for Trade and Industry has called on Ghanaians to support the Ghana Beyond Aid agenda to improve the well-being of the people.
The Trade Minister, Alan Kyeremateng said, the desire to build a resilient economy that will stand a test of time by being able to be self-sufficient in its determination to build a solid economic standard.
Alan Kyeremateng made these remarks at the Danquah Institute Liberty Lectures, as part of its anniversary lectures to sensitize the public on its mandate.
Danquah Institute, a Think Tank which researches into the social and political activities in the country.
The Trade Minister, calls on Ghanaians to pay taxes expected of us as people to enable us build a formidable economy to be able to generate the needed employments for the people.
If the People refuse to pay taxes for developments, that is when we may turn to other countries to support the country’s budget to meet its financial obligations.
The Minister pleaded with the people to support the state by honoring its tax obligation to foster better footing for the growth of the economy, if the people do not support the country, by its inputs on collaborating with the private sector for the growth of the country we all wished to have through constant rendering our support to the country’s growth.
